Children’s Privacy
Our Services are designed for use in an educational environment with qualified adult supervision or school district (SUPERVISING ADULT) who have been trained in and are authorized to manage personal information of children of all ages. During the use of our curriculum and online banking, the SUPERVISING ADULT may enter information about the students they are responsible for, such as a name and an identification number, to facilitate the education and tracking of the student’s individual performance. All children information is under the control of the SUPERVISING ADULT or the School District what has purchase the service. As a company, we do not knowingly collect or gather any of this information for any company use. If it is discovered that personal information of children or students has been collected for use outside of the original intent of the SUPERVISING ADULT, the collected data will immediately be removed from our systems.
During troubleshooting, training, or to improve website performance, an authorized company representative may initiate tasks that require access the data in the accounts of the subscribers including data on the students accounts. After these maintenance tasks are completed, all data is removed from local computers after the tasks have been completed.
The CTM Bank is a simulated bank account that is used to facilitate instruction and provide grading in the form of money. Student information including names and an identification number are entered by the SUPERVISING ADULT or School District for use in identifying the students . At no time are email addresses of students entered, and at no time is any method of contacting or communicating students, specifically children, made available to the company.
